I am an emerging artist with a love for emotion and its visual expression.
My painting journey started in childhood, being mentored by the late Charles Cassar right into my late teens.
My fascination with the human form remained constant and manifested itself in painting portraits, with a particular focus on the emotional state. In my personal work, I attempt to capture a specific facial gesture to use imagery to transfer a mood, a message, or even a feeling.
I spend most of my time in my home studio, painting portrait commissions and expanding my personal body of work, exploring how human expression can be received and interpreted versus how the subject intends to communicate its emotion.
